The Tribal Rugby Festival, in Rotorua in the Bay of Plenty, is three fun-filled days of entertainment, food and wine, Māori culture and friendly competition.   Activities on all three days are open to the public and during the day are free of charge. A day time feature will be The NZ Sports Academy Exhibition Rugby Game on the Village Green between Academy teams showcasing the skills of these emerging young Maori players, referred by Glen Jackson and attended by former All Blacks and Maori All Blacks.

NB:  This tour is ideally suited for those clients who want to combine a tour to Rotorua and Taupo (or just get out of Auckland for a few days) - New Zealand’s premier North Island visitor destination with some focused RWC Festival activity. 

An added advantage is that there is no rugby being played anywhere in the country during this period.

MANAAKITANGA EVENING : HOW TO BOOK


Entry Ticket :  $30 per person...see conditions below. Tickets to the MANAAKITANGA EVENING event are restricted due to size of venue and are being sold on "first-come first-served basis".

To guarantee your place at the event please provide details of your party - tickets required and we will send by return email a voucher to be redeemed on the night OR tickets - once payment has been received.    Payment details will be provided on once request for tickets are received.   Payment method: Bank check, Direct credit or PAYPAL.


The six hour MANAAKITANGA Cultural and Entertainment event is not to be missed and will provide some of the best food and entertainment on the RWC calendar.  


Terms & Conditions:  The door cover charge is $30 per person and this includes Maori cultural welcome, Entertainment throughout evening, a free Tribal Rugby souvenier glass with serving of wine or beer.  (It does not cover cost of subsequent beverages or food)  You must be over 18 years of age to attend and receive Alcohol.


NB:  Wine, beer and beverages and speciality dishes will be available throughout the evening for purchase.   Maori Kai will feature in many of these dishes provided by chefs and cooks from around the Nation.

On the evening of Wednesday 12th October we will have our feature event.   An evening of fun, entertainment, amazing food, wine, beer and hosted by former ALL BLACKS Buck Shelford, Taine Randall, Ron Cribb, Frano Botica, Darryl Shelford, Hika Reid, Glen Jackson, Matt Te Pou and others.

Celebrity Chefs to bring the very best comfort food, Maori vineyards providing top New Zealand wines and some fantastic entertainment from leading New Zealand muscians and singers.
